Try Walkers cake shop at K Mart. Very nice and tasty pies. Chunky pies in Aitkenvale and Belgian Gardens are good too. Both places serve pies and sausage rolls with flavour and good content as fillings go. The bakery at Edison Street Wulguru was a good one too. I have also heard that the bakery over on Magnetic Island is pretty good too. So there are still a few pie shops to get out there and try. The smaller bakeries around town do have good pies. They're just well kept secrets waiting to be found! So your pie hunting mission isn't over yet! Ha! Ha!
